Our Story
We grew up in Kibera — where dreams often feel bigger than the opportunities around you. At Ayany Primary School and later St. Aloysius Gonzaga Secondary School, we learned early that if our lives were to change, education would be our way forward. The odds were heavy, resources were few, but we refused to let our environment decide our future.
Through resilience and relentless effort, we made it to Chuka University. There, five of us — bound by shared classrooms, shared struggles, and shared hope — discovered something life-changing: technology could become our bridge out. Not just for us, but for many others like us.
Today, UNI Freelancers Africa is that bridge. We use digital skills to create opportunity, empower businesses, and open doors for youth from underserved communities. We are not just building websites. We are rewriting stories — including our own.
